The concert was awesome. Here is what happened.
The concert started at 8:00 PM with Pink opening the show. She did several songs and ended at 8:45 PM. Justin came on at 9:05 PM and sang FutureSex/LoveSound, Like I Love You, My Love, Senorita, Sexy Ladies, Until the End of Time, What Goes Around, and Chop Me Up. He left for about 1/2 hour during which Timbaland took the stage and played the piano/keyboard while video played. He kept us quite entertained.
Justin came back and sang Rock Your Body, Medley of Gone/Take It From Here/Boutique in Heaven/Last Night, Damn Girl, Summer Love, Losing my Way, Cry Me a River, LoveStoned, and Sexy Back. He left but came back to perform Another Song (All Over Again). The show then ended at 11:45 PM.
Justin was singing and dancing to all the fast songs and getting the audience interacting along. During the slow songs he played the guitar and piano/keyboard.
The stage was round and the band was in the middle. Justin would go from one side to the other side throughout the band. Meaning he would be behind the band one moment and another moment he would be in front of the band. There were no floor seats. All floor seats were standing only. That may not be too good for those who are short like me. Overall everyone had a fair chance of seeing Justin.
If anyone has ever gone to an *N Sync concert you know that this is not the case. I went to 2 and let me tell you how it is if you haven’t gone to any. There is a rectangular stage. There are curtains at the back of the stage. If you sit facing the front of the stage you get a clear view of Justin. If you sit facing the back of the stage you never see Justin at all. What’s the point of paying all this money to only see him on the TV screens they had around the stage. You probably know what I’m talking about if you’ve seen the Madison Square Garden No Strings Attached Tour DVD. Not very good setup. Justin had the right idea. Make it round and have all sides open so he can walk all around and everyone can get to see him.
He is such a talented singer, piano/keyboard player, guitar player, and performer. The concert was just awesome and amazing. Would love to see it again.
